Rachel Mann – Publishing Consultant
Rachel is a freelance publishing consultant and editor with over ten years’ experience in commissioning and editing books for young people, at houses including Penguin Random House and Simon & Schuster. She was most recently Publishing Director at the Roald Dahl Story Company, working on new concepts and formats with 42 publishers globally.
She is now working with a number of leading publishers and brands, and is particularly interested in inclusivity, publishing as activism and translated works.
Rachel is also co-founder of literacy and education charity The Saltpond Education Project, which trains local teachers in Ghana in providing a dynamic and progressive education for under-served children in the region.
