R.E. Rennie

Songwriter/Author/Librettist/Freelance Editor/Ghostwriter/Musician/Actress. An Australian/British creative with many incarnations: Rebecca has authored two novels, a poetry anthology and co-written/composed a musical called "Paris Bear".

Edited/ ghostwritten/ co-authored works include:

"The Many Faces of Crime: A Real Detective's Chronicle" SOON TO BE PUBLISHED! which Rebecca edited for two years before helping Dennis McGookin submit the book to a major agent.
"Nina Simone's Travelling Circus: A Drummer's Tale" which Rebecca started writing in 2018. Paul Robinson came aboard at Draft 5 and together they completed the book in 2022. Draft 10 is currently being submitted to publishers by their newly signed agent, Justin Nash.

"Whatever Happened to Oliver Twist". Rebecca has taken the Mark Anderson (Tower of London Beefeater) book to Draft Two, along with another project by the same author, and is currently helping Mark submit to agents.
Other memoir clients include immigrant Abi Zar, Australian Oui Chef Allison Bolt, late artist/ academic Janis Lander amongst many others...

Known as FREYjA, in the music world  and an award-winning singer/ songwriter/ recording artist who has performed at venues and festivals worldwide, including Montreux Festival, solo before 47,000 at Stadium Australia, Woodford Festival and more.

In Sydney she had her own radio show on RRR. She is also a choir director, actress (Sydney Theatre Company and various TV), VO artist, librettist.

Rebecca lived in Southern Ecuador, Kyoto and Paris, which she still regards as her second home. She is currently moving from London (after 13 years) to East Sussex.
