I’ve been writing stories since I was nine when I first picked up a pen and began creating worlds and characters inspired by real people and experiences. My passion for writing has led me to craft fiction and non-fiction stories that celebrate individuality and resilience in young readers.
With over 27 years in childcare, I have had the privilege of nurturing children’s emotional well-being and growth, drawing on these experiences to inspire my books.
Throughout my career, I’ve been a trusted guide to families, working as a nanny for families with premature babies and twins, serving as a travel nanny and governess.
I’ve always believed that storytelling extends beyond the pages of a book, and this belief has shaped my journey—from writing song lyrics to designing engaging activities for children.
Being bilingual has allowed me to connect with a diverse range of children and families, enriching my understanding of different cultures and perspectives. Whether I’m cooking meals that bring comfort or crafting stories that resonate with children’s hearts, my mission remains the same: to bring stories to life that inspire self-acceptance, empathy and courage.
Driven by my experiences in childcare and a deep understanding of the challenges children face, I aim to create stories that empower young readers to believe in their unique strengths and beauty, just as they are.
