Denise Roberts is a trained journalist, editor and publishing consultant who entered the industry in 1996. She is the founder of The Editor’s Chair, a one-stop-shop editorial consultancy that supports business leaders, entrepreneurs and individuals with all the help they need to write and publish a book around their passion. She is passionate about the art of writing and making the process more enjoyable for those less experienced at long-haul, professional projects.
Denise combines her wealth of knowledge and experience in publishing with a strong passion for books and the role they play in society to help her clients build a solid foundation for success. She runs regular events and workshops for authors (such as the monthly Lunch & Learn for (BADASS) Authors!) to help them access ongoing educational and collaborative support along their book journey.
Denise has taught journalism to undergraduates at Goldsmiths University and spoken at events such as the Marie Claire International Editor’s Conference in Paris and the London Publishing Expo.
