Rupal will be in conversation with Kelly Weekes and together they will explore Rupal’s author journey and experience from the very beginning to the present. Rupal will share her tips and learning from her experience. There will also be plenty of time for you to ask questions.

Rupal Patel:

Rupal Patel’s high-octane career has taken her from military briefing rooms in jungles and war zones to corporate boardrooms and international stages. During her thrilling career at the CIA, she advised Four-Star Generals, earned War Zone Service commendations, and was recognised by the CIA Director for “superior support to the President of the United States.”

In 2023, Rupal was named “One of the Most Influential Women of the Year,” and in2024 she was awarded SUCCESS Magazine’s Change maker Award for her “relentless passion and innovative spirit” in creating “meaningful social, environmental and economic impact worldwide.”

She is the author of the international best-seller From CIA to CEO: Unconventional LifeLessons for Thinking Bigger, Leading Better, and Being Bolder, which has been translated into multiple languages and been hailed as “one of the best business books” and “essential for bringing your ambitions to life,” and her TED talk explores the power of “owning your weird” to unleash personal excellence.

Kelly Weekes ACC (ICF)  is a confidence and mindset coach for authors who she helps go from feeling stuck and uncertain about their future to confident, empowered and thriving in their author careers by helping them develop strategies to overcome challenges, refuel their professional momentum and enjoy their author journey.

She is accredited by the institute of Leadership and the International Coaching Federation

She has an extensive background of working in senior marketing roles in publishing and, and as well as coaching, also mentors authors on getting visible and confident promoting themselves, their books and growing their audience online. In addition she is proud to host many of Byte the Book’s online events.
