How to Edit your Novel like a Professional with Sam Eades

November 20, 2025

Editing is a vital part of the writer’s process, but how do you actually do it? In this online event with Sam Eades, a freelance editor with twenty years’ experience in trade publishing, we will delve into all aspects of the editing process, from ensuring your story is structurally sound to deciding which of your characters deserve time on the page and ending your book with a bang.

Sam will also talk about the relationship an author has with their editor, the role the Editor plays in the traditional publishing process and how this differs and works alongside the agent relationship.

Sam will be in conversation with Kelly Weekes and there will be plenty of time in the session to answer your questions. We look forward to seeing you there.
