Byte The Book at Google – New Writing: What Opportunities Are There for Authors on Today’s Platforms?

We've an amazing panel including people from the gaming industry, You Tube, TV and publishing, and they'll be discussing how authors can write for different mediums.

Mark Piesing (journalist and author ) will chair and his panel will include:  Simon Savidge (Vlogger and Founder of Savidge Reads),  Colin Harvey (Senior Narrative Designer at Sony's London Studio), Sam Rowden (Director of Programming at AMC Networks International UK) and Nick Coveney (Publisher Relations & Content Lead at Kobo UK & ANZ and ex HarperCollins Innovation Digital Director and StoryCastle Project Lead).

You'll have the opportunity to network with media companies, authors, agents, publishers and suppliers  before and after the discussion.

This event will start at 5:30pm, with the discussion beginning at 6pm, finishing at 7pm in time for the football to start. We'll be showing the football during the networking for those that want to watch it, but there will be space elsewhere at the venue for who don't like football to stay and network.

This event will take place at The Google Academy, 123 Buckingham Palace Road.

Google are kindly providing drinks and nibbles for attendees.
