Author
Juliet graduated in Plymouth with a BA Hons degree in Public Relations and Language Studies in her early twenties and has worked for over 20 years in CSR, PR and Marketing roles for large organisations such as NTL Telecommunications, Leeds United Football Club and Yorkshire Building Society.
Since 2018, Juliet left the corporate life to support her family, and has been building a multi-passionate creative business - The Curious Creative Club, which incorporates Coaching, Mentorship, articles and resources, and delivery of creative workshops for wellbeing, such as a series of events coming up for the award winning Huddersfield Literature Festival.
The business all began as a Blog, where she has written over 100 articles on creative and wellbeing topics to inspire others to embrace their creative side.
During the last few years, Juliet became a Community Coach for Life After Cancer, following her own successful treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma during lockdown.
She is a passionate speaker on creative advocacy via podcast interviews and recently BBC Radio Leeds and delivered a series of 10 Instagram Lives for Psychology Magazine, encouraging people to unlock their creative potential during lockdown.
In addition to her passions of writing, art and photographer, she is also a keen nature enthusiast, which is where much of her inspiration comes from. She is out every day in the West Yorkshire town of Holmfirth, walking her dog in the hills and being blasted by the weather!
The culmination of all her experience is now being written in her book - Creative by Nature which she received Arts Council DYCP funding for last Summer. Reaching a milestone birthday this year, she is determined to finish her book and help others to invest in an enriched, creative way of living to improve wellbeing and live a magical life, because as she understands now more than ever, you only get one shot at it.
Juliet is looking forward to being part of the Byte the Book community.
