Working with a professional editor is an important step for any writer who wants to present their best work to the world. If you’re getting ready to finish that first draft, submit a story to a contest or to find an agent, it is crucial that the work is polished and in the best shape it can be.

There are times when it is important to have a confidential and supportive conversation with a professional who can offer you a balanced perspective. This is where the Byte the Book Members-only editing surgeries come in.

Amelia B. Kyazze is an author, editor and photographer. An award-winning facilitator, she took part in the London Borough of Culture 2022, using her methodology, Writing the 7 Senses. She has extensive experience of working with a broad range of clients in fiction and non-fiction, including memoir, romance, fantasy, literary, and academic writers from around the world. She is a founding member of the Breakthrough Books Collective, and a judge on the inaugural Oxford/Pushkin Children’s Fantasy Novel Prize.
