Book on TV are big business these days. How do books get optioned for television and what's the process of honing them for the small screen? Philippa Donovan is a book to film/TV Scout and will be hosting this event and further details will be announced shortly.

Philippa is the founder of Smart Quill Editorial. Since 2011 she has been offering bespoke author services, and opening access to submission and publication. Since 2016 she has worked as a book scout for producers in LA, London and Sydney (The Walking Dead, The Handmaid's Tale, House of Cards, Picnic at Hanging Rock, and the Elena Ferrante adaptations). Philippa provides advice on book to film and tv opportunities, as well as literary agent recommendation, and full editorial services including structural reports and copy-edits.
