Jasmin is a writer and editor. She is currently undertaking a PhD Creative and Critical Writing at UEA looking at hope, climate change and science fiction. She completed the MA Creative Writing: Prose at UEA in 2019.
Prior to this, she was Publishing Director at Endeavour Media and a freelance journalist and editor. She has six years experience in publishing, and has worked with Hay Festival, Periscope, Galley Beggar Press, Dodo Ink, BookBrunch, Publishers Weekly and Time Out, among others. She is currently working with the UEA Publishing Project.
A published author, Jasmin's short stories have been published by magazines including Ash Tales, Fictive Dream, Fairlight Books, and Open Pen, shortlisted for the EVENT Magazine Speculative Fiction Contest 2019, and won The Short Story Monthly 500 Competition. Her poetry has been published in Blithe Spirit and Frogpond, shortlisted for the Museum of Haiku Literature Award 2019, and was a runner up in the Snapshot Press Haiku Calendar Competition 2021. Her academic work has been published by Routledge and appeared in LOGOS (upcoming), and she is the author of an inspirational self-help series published by Summersdale.
Jasmin is currently working on her first novel with her agent, Sandra Sawicka at Marjacq.
