Author or publisher, traditional or independent, no matter who you are or what side of the business you are on, you are eager to find readers for your books. It may be easy in the country in which you live, but what happens when you try to expand your audience to a new market? In this webinar, we will bring together publicists from the US and UK who can share how to promote your work at home or abroad.
Hosted and moderated by Erin L. Cox, literary agent and publicity/marketing consultant with 20+ years experience working with such authors as Stephen King, Frank McCourt, Meg Wolitzer, Maile Meloy, Al Roker, Faith Salie, and such brands as The New Yorker, Frankfurt Book Fair, and Oxford University Press.
Anna Pallai has over two decades experience in British publishing. She has devised and managed nationwide publicity campaigns for Booker Prize winners, A list celebrities and breakout authors alike. She is the founder of AMP Literary, a boutique PR and literary agency, and the author of 70s Dinner Party (Square Peg, 2017).
Sarah Russo was most recently the Global Head of Audience Engagement for Oxford University Press where she led the publicity, social media, trade marketing, and communications teams for the trade books division, as well as journals, dictionaries, reference, and online products. Currently, Sarah is working on publicity and marketing campaigns for authors who have a distinct area of expertise, speak to a major social issue, or have a literary novel coming out in 2020.
