Join us at a brand new venue and our first event of 2018 and listen to a panel of industry experts explore how we can encourage new voices in publishing and how can we support diversity across the industry. Julia Kingsford (Director of Kingsford Campbell Literary and Marketing Agency) will chair and her panel will include: Joy Francis (Director of Words of Colour), Sharmaine Lovegrove (Publisher at Dialogue Books, Little Brown), Natalie Jerome (Brand and Licensing Director at Bonnier Publishing UK) and Chris McCrudden (Author and Director of Strategy and Media Planning at Golin). As well as the talk, you'll also have the opportunity to network with authors, agents, publishers and suppliers to the publishing industry before and after the discussion.
This event will take place at The House of St Barnabas, a not-for-profit private members' club working to break the cycle of homelessness. Byte the Book and HoSB member tickets are free. Non-member tickets for the event cost £25 (plus booking fee) with £5 of all tickets bought going towards supporting the work of The House of St Barnabas' Employment Academy.
If you are keen to join Byte the Book please sign up here. £5 from any new year memberships taken out prior to this event, will also be donated to the House of St Barnabas charity.
All tickets need to be booked via Eventbrite below.
