How do book prizes affect authors and publishers, both in terms of marketing and what gets published? Are you they are a good or bad thing?
Author and founder of the Republic of Consciousness Prize, Neil Griffiths will chair a panel and his speakers will be: Dr Tim Parnell (Senior Lecturer at Goldsmiths University and Literary Director of the Goldsmiths Prize), Amelia Fairney (Communications Director at Penguin Random House) and Catherine Taylor (Arts Journalist, Commissioning Editor, Critic and former Deputy Director of English PEN).
Before and after the talk they'll be the opportunity to network with authors, agents, publishers and suppliers to the publishing industry.
